Tax Returns Terms and Conditions

Thank you for engaging us to do your tax returns, below is some housekeeping and charges that can apply.

We have fine-tuned our process to simplify the tax collating process for our clients but unfortunately the back and forth is leading to additional work that is not sustainable. To complete your job, we may request lots of information from you to ensure we get the best outcome for you. Please follow the instructions below to ensure the collection of your information is done efficiently, as to avoid being charged extra fees for providing incorrect or insufficient information.

1.       Use the list below as a checklist to gather all information

2.       Compile all the requested information for all entities before responding to this email

3.       Do not drip feed information to us as that will incur additional charges

4.       Cross check you have responded to each query and attached all documents before responding to this email as information missed will lead to incorrect outcome and a charge to redo the job. If we have requested the information and you have not provided it, we will assume there is none and should you decide to provide the information later we will charge you to redo the job.

5.       If the request in your response is for us to check that you have provided all the information per the checklist below, we will charge for the additional task

6.       If you require assistance, please book in a meeting for assistance.

We aim for efficiency around our systems, delivery time and service standards and the only way we can continue to work at this level is if our clients provide the information to us in a timely and systematic manner. Here is some housekeeping to ensure that we can keep to our proposed price and delivery timeline:

1.       Please provide all responses and supporting documents requested in this email as one email response, should you send us more than 2 email responses for below we will charge a fee of $29 for each additional email for having to repeat our job multiple times

2.       Should you be waiting/looking for some of the information, we request you wait till you get all the information and respond once

3.       Should you have multiple entities that require the work to be done, we will not start till we get all the entities information

4.       Please do not request for us to check you have provided everything, that is the purpose of the checklist below, should you wish for us to check we can do so for an additional fee of $65

5.       Please provide the information and sign the engagement within a reasonable time frame (2 to 3 weeks), should you take longer that is understandable but please note that you may be slightly delayed in getting your job completed

6.       After we have received all your information, we aim to get the job completed and finalised to you 2 to 4 weeks after, subject to there being no missing information nor queries

7.       Please attach receipts etc as an attachment not as pictures or within the content of the email, as this takes a lot more time to download and save as per our ATO and professional body record keeping requirements. Should you send us the receipts within the content of the email as opposed to as an attachment, we will charge an additional $35 to cover our time to save all the documents individually and manually

8.       Should you wish your job to be fast tracked there is a minimum fee of $99 per individual tax return that will be charged, for other entities such as Trusts or companies this amount could start at $330 per entity

A reminder that our fee is proposed based on systems that are efficient and the above leads to inefficiencies thus the reason for additional fees. Should you provide us the information below in an efficient manner, there should not be any additional fees.
